BENOIT PLAYS QUADRUPLE FRETLESS BASS SUITE FOR ITALIAN TELEVISION
Benoit recently recorded a performance featuring four simultaneous fretless bass lines for the Italian TV drama "La Narcotici". We haven't heard this much fretless bass in one dosage since the heydays of the 70's!
BENOIT ORCHESTRATES FOR LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA!
Benoit recently provided orchestrations for a live performance of the Oprah Winfrey narrated Discovery Channel documentary "LIFE: CHALLENGES" at the Getty Center where the Los Angeles Philharmonic performed in concert while the motion picture unspooled. Audiences were spellbound by the combination of the most visually compelling moving images supported by orchestral music of the highest calibre. "Bravo! This is a shining example of the richest artistic possibilities of combining motion picture with symphonic music." said one reviewer.

Benoit will be interviewed on the award winning radio program "Visions in Sound" on CKWR 98.5 out of Waterloo, Ontario. The interview will air Saturday, November 7th from 2-4am (EST) 11pm-1am (PST) 6-8am (UTC/GMT) and will feature Benoit's score for "Screamers: The Hunting" along with other selections of his current and past work. Benoit is wrapping up his latest film scoring project "Suicide Dolls", a dramatic feature starring Christy Carlson Romano ("Kim Possible").
BENOIT'S CONDUCTS AND ARRANGES CHRISTMAS ALBUM FEATURING JACKSON BROWNE
Benoît was called in recently to arrange and conduct the orchestra for a new Christmas themed album featuring the voices of many pop stars including the legendary Jackson Browne ("Doctor My Eyes", "Running On Empty") Benoît has recently been invited to reprise his duties with a live performace with said stars in the Los Angeles area Christmastime. Benoit lends a hand in the orchestration efforts for the new animated sci-fi feature "9". The film is directed by Shane Acker, produced by Tim Burton and stars John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly and Crispin Glover. It is currently being screened nationwide.
